Reimagining Miami Vice for the big screen for Universal Studios
Prior to production of the Miami Vice motion picture, Universal Studios needed to communicate the picture’s vision, value and intent to prospective product placement, merchandise and licensing clients. To this end, Universal asked IA Collaborative to re imagine the classic series as a modern, gritty film. From logo to image style, IA developed a brand and visual vocabulary which brought Miami Vice from 1980 to now.
