IA worked with Snap-on to create a system of branded touchpoints and new product concepts to support the company’s internal innovation initiative, Innovation Works. IA designed the brand identity and graphic architecture to communicate Snap-on’s vision for advanced tools, in addition to designing a suite of new product concepts to further crystallize and support the vision. IA then designed the archetype “Innovation Works: Garage of the Future” that served as both an internal space for prototyping and a working garage space featuring advanced technician features and various branded touchpoints.

Elegant Design That Drives Results: Merchandising 400,000+ Products for an Industrial Icon

An icon in the industrial supply business, McMaster-Carr’s hefty catalogs with their line art illustrations and utilitarian aesthetic are beloved for their no-nonsense usability. Carr called upon IA to help them design a website worthy of this legendary status. Stripping away any unnecessary step or extraneous element, IA delivered a design that helps users quickly find any needle in a haystack of 400,000 products.
